# Migration of old Hibernate tool "Autofetch"

Hey everyone,

I’m a master thesis student investigating a technology called Autofetch, which automates prefetching. In order to truly evaluate the technique and see how it performs in real-world scenarios, I need to migrate the tool to the latest version of Hibernate. In order to achieve this, I thought it might be a good idea to make it open source so that more developers might help me with this effort.

For this purpose, I’ve made a small webpage with some useful links to the original article from the authors of the tool etc.

If you have any questions/suggestions I would truly appreciate it if you contact me. This is my first open source project so anything that can help me out would be great.
