@mbladel Could you please share in which release this could be fixed? @J.Thiele Did you find a fix for this fetchNotFound issue? In my application if I go back to 6.5.3 I am getting ehcache related exception.

We ran into the similar error when we upgraded to Spring 3.5.5 as 6.6.X is its default version. It is a critical bug and we have to manually downgrade to 6.5.3.Final version as a workaround.
